I have just returned home from the annual rally of the Rolls Royce & Bentley Club of Poland and have to congratulate the club on organising a really superb event. I enjoyed it immensely, met many wonderful people and made new friends.

We assembled at our hotel, the 5 star Monopol Hotel in Wroclaw, and within an hour started our first of many trips which were to total 400km over three days. With all 23 cars in convoy - and numerical sequence - and a police escort of three motor bikes, a car and van, we were able to make very good progress through traffic and had no problem staying together. This really was a great way of getting around town and beyond. (Stopping for red lights on the way home to Prague was quite inconvenient!)

Our first visit was to the private estate of one of the organisers. Here, we were able to get to know each other, take a (free) helicopter ride, a boat trip on the private lake and view a personal collection of 100 motorbikes. With glorious weather, everyone was able to make the most of the facilities offered - including our police escorts.

Over the next three days we were to have the pleasure of displaying our cars to a total of seven towns where, without exception, we were warmly greeted by the locals. It was a privilege to be able to show our cars to so many of the general public who seemed to be as enthusiastic about the cars as we were! I found it very rewarding.

It was really nice to spend so much time driving in convoy with these lovely cars of ours and getting waves from so many of the Polish people we passed.

Parking was not an issue either, as a barrier had been erected in the local town square for us to park. It also had two security guards present around the clock!

I would thoroughly recommend this rally to anyone and will certainly be putting my name down for next year. It would be great to see more members from the UK as well as other countries at this rally.

Although I was disappointed at missing this years annual at Rockingham, the RR&B Club of Poland rally more than made up for it.

Thank you to the RR&B Club of Poland for an amazing experience.
